A hand-knotted Turkmen Bokhara rug, featuring a vibrant deep red field decorated with two neat rows of traditional octagonal gul motifs. Smaller geometric details are arranged throughout the field, creating the balanced and distinctive appearance associated with traditional Turkmen weaving.
The central field is framed by multiple finely patterned geometric borders in deep burgundy, black, ivory and warm orange tones. Decorative elem bands at either end and natural fringes complete the traditional tribal design.
