Ziegler

A hand-knotted Ziegler rug, woven in Pakistan using traditional techniques inspired by the famous Persian Sultanabad carpets. Ziegler rugs are well known for their elegant floral designs, soft colour palettes, and excellent craftsmanship, making them a popular choice for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

This example features a rich terracotta-red field decorated with an intricate all-over pattern of scrolling vines, palmettes, and delicate floral motifs, framed by a broad ivory border. The warm combination of deep red, cream, and soft beige gives the rug a classic and inviting appearance, making it equally suited to a living room, dining room, or bedroom.

Offered in very good condition, the rug has a healthy wool pile and only light signs of use. A well-made piece with a timeless design that will complement a wide range of interiors.
